MOS Choir performs at Vanir Foundation “Building Blocks for the Future” event

April 27, 2015 by DMD

Last month, the Mother of Sorrows School Choir had the honor of performing at “Building Blocks for the Future,” a fundraising event to benefit The Vanir Foundation in Memory of H. Frank Dominguez. In addition to featuring wonderful music from our students, the event included an invocation from our very own Father Abel Loera, remarks from Jim Hill of CBS 2/KCAL 9, and a keynote address from Archbishop José Gomez.

The Vanir Foundation partners with Mother of Sorrows School to generously support many of our school’s student and family programs — including The Early Literacy Program, the SRA reading program, Engineering is Elementary, holiday food gift cards, uniform gift certificates and more. We are so grateful for their commitment to our community!

Congratulations and thank you to the MOS Choir for its beautiful performance, which served as the event’s pre-dinner entertainment. You did a wonderful job! A big thank you goes to Ms. Suzanne as well, who prepared and led the choir so wonderfully — as she always does! And finally, thank you to The Vanir Foundation for inviting the MOS Choir to share its talent at the Building Blocks for the Future event.
