Students dazzle MOS families, faculty and staff with song and dance at the 2012 Christmas Program

December 28, 2012 by DMD

The entire Mother of Sorrows School community gathered for a night of holiday music and dancing on December 18 at the 2012 Christmas Program. Every class – from pre-school through 8th grade – presented a song, dance or both to a crowd of adoring family members, friends, faculty and staff.

Songs ranged from The Littler Drummer Boy to ¿Dónde Está Santa Claus? and many other festive numbers in between. The program, which took place in a decorated tent outside of the Parish Hall, began at 6 p.m. In addition to music, the event included a creative presentation from Student Council members about our school-wide Christmas fundraiser to buy a cow for a family abroad through Heifer International.

The evening concluded with a treat of pan dulce, coffee and champurrado for all attendees. We congratulate all students for their wonderful performances, and we thank faculty, staff and family members who helped prepare for and clean up after the program. It was a wonderful sendoff for our Christmas vacation!
