Winter Community Night Dinner

December 7, 2012 by DMD

Mother of Sorrows School sends a big “thank you” to everyone who helped make our annual Winter Community Night Dinner a success. The dinner, which took place Friday, November 30 in the Parish Hall, was a celebration of family and friendship and was a great way to kick off the Christmas season.

More than 25 parent and family volunteers helped to prepare for the dinner and to serve 400 meals, which included carne asada tacos and pozole.

In addition to enjoying delicious food, school students, families, and friends enjoyed festive music, Christmas decorations created by the children, a raffle, and – of course – good company. The spirit of the season was truly in the air!

We look forward to continuing to celebrate the Christmas season as a Mother of Sorrows family at our upcoming Christmas Program. The Christmas Program was originally scheduled to be part of the Winter Community Night Dinner, but because of rain has been rescheduled for Tuesday, December 18 at 6 p.m. Please join us then for an evening of spirited performances!
