On May 3rd, the entire Mother of Sorrows community came together for an evening of food, fun, family, and entertainment. Each class from preschool through eighth grade performed a song or dance for the community. Their performances varied in genre, including cumbia, hip-hop, funk, merengue, disco, and rock. Families and friends enjoyed a delicious meal of fried chicken, pasta salad, rice, dinner rolls, and dessert.
This tradition began as a way to bring the community together to share a meal. It has since become a fundraiser for the school and a way to enjoy an evening in the schoolyard together.
