Beyond the classroom, Mother of Sorrows School students have the opportunity to be involved in several extra-curricular activities. We believe extra-curricular activities play an important role in engaging the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
These programs foster faith, fellowship, knowledge, and leadership. Each activity operates on a set schedule during the school year. We notify students and families of upcoming activities prior to the start of each program cycle or athletic season. Either a Mother of Sorrows faculty or staff member or a school volunteer leads each of our extra-curricular activities.
We provide the following extra-curricular activities to help foster student growth:
- Student Council
- Vincentian Marian Youth (VMY)
- Academic Decathlon
- Student Ambassadors
- CYO Girls Volleyball
- CYO Boys Football
- CYO Boys Soccer
- CYO Boys and Girls Basketball
- Choir
- Art Club
