Program Goals

Mother of Sorrows Pre-School’s goal is to build a faithful atmosphere where children can experience the love of God, learn and practice virtues, and receive exceptional educational preparation for Kindergarten.

Program Session

Students attend a full-day session (from 7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.). The pre-school session is Monday through Friday. All students must be 4 years old by September 1.

Mother of Sorrows Pre-School’s program has a developmentally age appropriate curriculum that is based on an active, hands-on learning approach.

Our curriculum includes:

  • Faith and character development
  • Language development
  • Reading readiness
  • Math readiness
  • Science and Social Studies awareness
  • Creative arts
  • Cognitive, social, and emotional development
  • Physical, health, nutrition, and safety development

Mother of Sorrows Pre-School uses the “Links to Literacy” curriculum to nurture the essential elements of lifelong learning. We provide opportunities for our students to socialize in a cooperative atmosphere that promotes an awareness of and respect for others.
