Program Goals
Mother of Sorrows Pre-School’s goal is to build a faithful atmosphere where children can experience the love of God, learn and practice virtues, and receive exceptional educational preparation for Kindergarten.
Program Session
Students attend a full-day session (from 7:45 a.m. until 2:45 p.m.). The pre-school session is Monday through Friday. All students must be 4 years old by September 1.
Curriculum
Mother of Sorrows Pre-School’s program has a developmentally age appropriate curriculum that is based on an active, hands-on learning approach.
Our curriculum includes:
- Faith and character development
- Language development
- Reading readiness
- Math readiness
- Science and Social Studies awareness
- Creative arts
- Cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Physical, health, nutrition, and safety development
Mother of Sorrows Pre-School uses the “Links to Literacy” curriculum to nurture the essential elements of lifelong learning. We provide opportunities for our students to socialize in a cooperative atmosphere that promotes an awareness of and respect for others.
