We invite you to read a few 5th Grade class highlights from Miss Styjewski, 5th Grade Teacher:
- 13 out of the 23 5th Grade students have completed the Mastering Math Facts program in multiplication!
- In Science, 5th Grade students are learning about the Solar System and will visit the Griffith Observatory on October 10.
- Many students in 5th Grade have read more than the required one book per week as part of the Accelerated Reader program. Altogether, the 5th Grade class has read 313 books during the 1st quarter!
- The 5th Grade studies the Seven Sacraments in Religion class. As part of this study, students recently practiced their speaking skills by sharing something from their own Baptism with the class.
- 5th Grade is enjoying the responsibility of working with the Kindergarten class this year for all buddy activities.
