Catholic Schools Week is a time when the students at Mother of Sorrows are given the opportunity to spread God’s love and share the Vincentian Charism of service with those who are in need. This week our second grade class, Mrs. Lopez, and Mr. Amezcua continued the tradition by visiting the Clara Baldwin Stocker Home, a nursing facility located in West Covina. Our second grade class had the chance to write prayer cards with passages from the bible for the patients staying at Clara Baldwin and performed gospel songs lead by Mr. Amezcua. This was a great opportunity for our students to understand that God’s love can always be shared through their actions and serving those in need.
